Ticket Insurance

Insurance coverage exists if the scheduled attendance of the event is not reasonable because the insured person himself or a risk person is affected by one of the following events during the duration of the insurance coverage:

  • Death
  • Severe accidental injury
  • Unexpected serious illness
  • Pregnancy, if attending the event is consequently not possible or unreasonable.
  • Damage to the insured person's property caused by fire, explosion, storm, lightning, flood, earthquake or intentional crime by a third party, provided the damage is significant or the insured person's presence is required for clarification
  • Unexpected commencement of employment by the insured person or a person participating in the event, provided that this person was unemployed when a ticket was purchased
  • Repeat of a failed exam during school or university education, provided the event was booked before the original exam date or the date of the repeat exam unexpectedly coincides with the time of the insured event falls
  • Loss of the job of the insured person or a risk person participating in the event due to an unexpected termination of the job by the employer for operational reasons
  • Unexpected call-up of the insured person for basic military service, military training or civilian service, provided the date cannot be postponed and the cancellation costs are not covered by a sponsor
